Although care has been taken in preparing the information supplied on our websites, Bath Spa University cannot guarantee the accuracy of it due to the constantly changing nature of Higher Education provision in the UK. Use of Personal Information
Bath Spa University is bound by the UK Data Protection Act, and so can only use information provided to us via our website for the purpose of replying to your enquiry or application.
Generally, we do not store e-mail addresses for use in mailing lists, or physical address information for the purpose of bulk mailing or direct mail advertising. Exceptions to this are clearly stated and the information is not shared with any outside company.
Although many of our systems are provided by companies based within Europe, some of our systems (such as our email systems) are provided by companies based in the USA. Where this is the case, we require that those American companies are signatories of the U.S.-EU “Safe Harbor” [sic] frameworks.

When someone visits our website we collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the Bath Spa University website, such as course pages. Bath Spa University will not (and will not allow any third party) to use the statistical analytics tool to track or to collect any personally identifiable information of visitors to our site.
